- Install fire detection systems across three service sites
- Carry out health and safety risk assessments at four locations
- Invest in a case management system to improve data inputting, maintenance, and reporting — significantly enhancing service monitoring, accountability, and impact measurement
🟢 In 2024/2025, the Melita Foundation supported the restoration of two rainwater wells at the newly established SOAR Survivors’ Hub, a safe and nurturing space for women and children who have experienced domestic violence. The works included:
- Cleaning the wells and safely disposing of debris at registered sites
- Repairing cracks and structural damages
- Plastering and waterproofing
- Integrating a 155m² roof-level catchment area to supply up to 70,000 litres of rainwater to support organic gardening and sustainability initiatives
